I would like to go back in time to the 1940's and 1950's in America. This would be 10 to 25 years before I was born. Would I age if I went back in time, or would I not age and live forever? |

I never thought cryonics had a primer as clear and innovative as the one assembled by BB. Now I see cryonics not as pseudo-science. Its progenitors are as realistic as crystalographers and concreters. The survey has a contiguous thread. I cannot speak about God or Reincarnation because no one has sufficiently defined those two words - not to my satisfaction. The works of Empedocles, namely those entitled Purifications and Nature, offer useful hints on the extension of human life-spans. Strife is eternal. Paradise recurs eternally. Empedokles leaped into a volcano in the hope that he would convince people he was mortal when - according to the story - he was far from mortal... |

It will never work !! Common sense plus trying it on a small animal has proven after a long time being frozen your brain has been damaged. We are not God, and this is just plain bullshit to think other wise. Good luck !! but you will die, and you will not be back Pal. !! |

I think that it is much more likely that we could do life extension VERY SOON making the need for cryonics nearly nill. |

a better option to cryonics might be to get your self buried in a peat bog (bog bodies survive for thousends of years without depending upon someone else to keep the power on)
ther will be betterlong term presivzation. |

Currently there is no technology that really extends life in humans. There is cron, which may give an extra 10% of available life, and phenolic compounds and nutrients, like resveratrol and astragalus and stuff.. oh well.. heres to the future.. Hope we dont wipe ourselves off the face of this planet. |
